The Entertainment Guide

Smiths Bar & Restaurant

Smiths Bar & Restaurant is an integral part of Ayrshire’s dining scene. Food, drink and live entertainment can be enjoyed in a relaxed environment where everyone is made to feel welcome. Situated in the centre of town, the bar prides itself on offering a vast selection of drinks including wine, beer and spirits. Drinks promos help to keep the place busy through the week. While warm and cosy during the winter months, Smiths comes into its own in the summer, when the large beer garden and terrace make it arguably Ayr’s best pub. Grab a pint, find a picnic table and let the sun work its magic while you chat with your mates. Smiths serves classic pub fare – generously-portioned and freshly made – which can be eaten at the bar our outside on the terrace. Food is served till 9pm; afterwards attention generally turns to the sports events being shown on the big screens throughout the pub. Smiths’ restaurant boasts a diverse menu that includes everything from paninis, wraps and pasta through to Mexican favourites. There’s also a selection of burgers and steaks, served straight from the grill. With its good-natured vibe and spacious bar, it’s no surprise that Smiths is so popular with locals and visitors to the town of Ayr.

I like this pub for hospitality and down to earth (basically meaning for relaxing and left alone to my pleasure of being here enjoying my pint in peace ) as I have been to others around new York central as I find it the best for me so anyone got high standards or think you do have then you are being snobbish, as I have rich relatives and working class as I know what I would prefer"The real world" sorry I am being honest as money talks but its doesn't make you a better person
